Whites Sharing Grief about Racism
Ann and Caroline will be presenting at the Carmel Valley Library as part of the First Saturday Series. Books will be sold and signed by the authors and you will have an opportunity to meet Ann and Caroline.
Ann and Caroline will be speaking at 2 pm (PST) with Karyn Collins from www.diversebusinessnews.com, a new website launched by the publishers of Black Issues in Higher Education. They will discuss how to handle conversations about race and racial issues in the workplace.
On October 31st, Ann read from the Preface of Combined Destinies to 1000 high school students and faculty in Baltimore, Maryland. A wonderful article was written about the event. It can be read at Afro.com.
